After using Joomla for some time, in fact it's getting hard to recall the 'pre-Joomla' days it's interesting to read some of the older posts in this Joomla blog.

Joomla has become a way of working. Listening to professional researchers it's interesting to hear them talk about 'embedding' new knowledge or learning into practice. Usually these people are talking about medical courses or research or advances in some other esoteric field. That made me realise that I've actually embedded my use of Joomla into my web design business.

No longer do I think about html or page design in the 'old' way, instead I think Joomla and templates, so much so that when I had to revert to html for a page or two I actually found it quite difficult. All the niceties of Joomla were gone, I had to think about divs and css and how I wanted to put things on the page. Joomla is so much easier, especially when it comes to adding new articles and updating the menu structures.

One of my favourite Joomla sites that is my personal hobby site now has 600 articles simply because it's so easy to add and update them that I do it almost on a daily basis.

When you want a site that's easy to maintain Joomla is the way to go.
